It is with great pleasure that I announce the birth of another Great Grandson to my family. Named Cameron Alton Chick Jr.
Cameron is the 1st son of Cameron Alton Chick Sr. and Susan Chick, 1st son of Malinda Marie Root (my daughter) and Stacy Chick.
He was born on March 1st in Albuquerque, NM at 7:02 p.m. with dad and grandma in attendance. Both mom and baby are doing well.
So tiny and weighing in at 3lbs. 15.5 oz. and is 17 inches in length.
Wonderful things happened surrounding his birth as Grandma was there to take charge doing what she does best, multitask. She kept dad from passing out, fed ice chips to mom, pressed cool washcloths, and encouraged mom to bear down when the time came. Grandma provided the love bond we all needed. Yeah, grandma!
Susan and Cameron go home tomorrow and baby Cameron will go home in 1 to 2 weeks.
The day of his birth there were interesting things going on in the world.

Can’t believe it’s already been almost 4 years since my little boy was born. Cameron Jr. Truly is my miracle child and beat all odds that were against him in being born prematurely. I still wish things were different than they are but, they are the way they are because that’s what’s best for him. The day he was born were both the most terrifying and happiest moments of my life. I hope Jr knows I love him.
